Fine dining is a feature of a stay at Bakers
Creek Station.
The Billabong restaurant is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner. It offers an evening a la carte menu featuring
innovative dishes using Australian bush foods
as well as familiar favourites. A blackboard menu is available for lunch.
The setting is quite unique. The restaurant
extends out over an 18 acre lake in the centre of a 1000 acre valley. It has a
spacious, open design offering views to all points of the compass. Built in
early Australian style from weatherboards, bush poles and corrugated iron the
ambience is warm, inviting and peaceful. Dinner or a late lunch while the sun
sets over the lake and mountains beyond is an unforgettable experience. All our
herbs and salad vegetables are organically grown in a kitchen garden right
beside the restaurant and harvested just minutes before they appear on your
plate.
The Billabong is fully licensed and open to both accommodation
guests and the public
