A UNIQUE COUNTRY RETREAT...
Hidden in a 1000 acre valley on a
tributary of the picturesque Nambucca River this resort offers a rare
combination of comfort, seclusion and a thoroughly Australian ambience.
Self-contained cabins set in acres of native gardens overlook an 18 acre lake.
The waterside Billabong
restaurant features original Australian cuisine along with traditional
favourites.
If the Great Outdoors is calling there's tennis, horse
riding, canoeing and
more. A games room provides
diversion at night or in wet weather. If that all sounds a little exhausting try
a late morning stroll through 10 acres of native
gardens followed by an afternoon nap on the verandah. You'll wake to a
stunning sunset and wallabies grazing around your cabin.
And if you're still not quite in Nirvana let the gentle hands of our masseur
open the final door

The lake and surrounding gardens
are home to an incredibly diverse range of
bird species. The
gardens have been planted with grevilleas, bottlebrushes and other flowering
natives. There is an almost continuous supply of nectar for lorikeets,
honeyeaters, friarbirds and other nectar eaters. With birds of the wetlands, the
rainforest, the grasslands and the sclerophyll forest Bakers Creek is simply a
birdwatchers paradise.
Bakers Creek station is the
perfect wedding venue. A very private and beautiful setting in a 1000 acre valley where ceremony, reception , honeymoon and guest accommodation can be combined at the one unique location.
